Have You Given Your Life To Christ?

Why Should I Give My Life To Christ
There are many reasons why you should give your life to Christ. The most important reason is that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life with God (John 14:6). The Bible teaches that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). This means that without Christ, we are separated from God and destined for eternal death. However, Jesus Christ came to earth to offer us salvation through His death and resurrection. By accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and repenting of our sins, we can be forgiven, reconciled to God, and receive eternal life (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10).
In addition to the promise of eternal life, there are many other benefits to following Christ. For example, Jesus offers us peace, joy, and purpose in life (John 14:27, John 15:11, Ephesians 2:10). He also promises to be with us always, to guide us, and to provide for our needs (Matthew 28:20, Psalm 23:1-3, Philippians 4:19).
Ultimately, giving your life to Christ is a decision that will transform your entire being and bring you into a personal relationship with God. It is a decision that requires faith, humility, and obedience, but the rewards are immeasurable.

YOU Must Want It

You must know that God looks upon the heart and will know what you truly desire. "would God not discover this? For He knows the secrets of the heart (Psalm 44:21)." So, when you make this decision to accept Christ into your heart, make it an honest one because the Lord will know. However, know that "if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you (Matthew 17:20). If you have even the smallest bit of faith give your life to Christ and He can grow it.

How To Receive Christ

The first step is to admit that you are a sinner in need of salvation (you're not alone, all men are sinners - Romans 3:23).

Then turn to Jesus Christ, confess your sins, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

What You Can Pray

(This is an example that you should say in your own words and with your heart)

Lord Jesus,

I confess that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me.

Amen

You're Not In This Alone

If you are a new creation in Christ and wondering what's next, here are some suggestions. Remember that God will be with you every step of the way, and is only a prayer away from guidance and direction.
